Successful composer, sound designer, and music producer Martin Richmond has an impressive array of radio, television and film credits that recently include the CBS weekly series Ghost Whisperer, MTV's Date My Mom, Global TV's The Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival, Beyond the Action, and a number of television commercials including Rossignol Skis, Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain, and Tourism Whistler to name a few.

Martin is equally at home on keyboards, guitar or bass and is an exceptional rhythm programmer, sound engineer and re-mixer. An early gig with The Record Plant's Gordon Fordyce (Motley Crue, Van Halen, Ozzy, P'Diddy, Tone Loc, TLC and Seal) helped Richmond to cement his own distinctive sound, which blends diverse musical styles to create a memorable mood for any story or livingroom.

"Anyone can throw paint on the wall and call it art," says Martin, "but a true artist instinctively chooses the best colors, shapes and textures...I just know how to blend the right sounds." Martin is curently recording his third album, which mixes blues with an elclectic electronic sound, " Its really hard to capture everything you're about on an album, so I just concentrate on what I'm interested in at the time I'm writing. I'm getting back to my roots as a guitar player on this album."
